Projects

Our Projects

Protecting the environment comes in various forms - including reducing the environmental impact of landfills across the world. LMS owns and operates more than 60 biogas projects at some of the biggest landfills in Australia, as well as projects in New Zealand and the United States. One of our flagship sites, the Wollert Bioenergy Facility in Victoria, is featured in this animation which explains how LMS captures and destroys methane at landfills and how we are playing our part to help with Australia’s emission reduction efforts. Reducing the climate impact of waste requires significant investment but results in equally significant carbon abatement.
