21/01/2013 MAITLAND FLARING COMMENCES

LMS have installed and commissioned the LMS Gas Flare at the St Vincent Landfill (NSW). The gas resources from this site will be verified over the following months. If sufficient, LMS will progress with the installation of a power module.

30/11/2012 ADDITIONAL LMS PROJECTS ELIGIBLE UNDER CFI

LMS now has a total of eight projects to be declared as Eligible Offset Projects under the Carbon Farming Initiative (CFI). Our projects at Hallam Road (VIC), Wollert (VIC), Birkdale (QLD) and Wyong (NSW) were accredited at the end of November.

07/11/2012 HAMPTON PARK EXPANSION COMPLETE 8.8MW

LMS’ renewable electricity generation continues to increase with the expansion of the Hallam Road (Hampton Park, VIC) Renewable Energy Facility now complete. The eighth module was commissioned on 07 November 2012, taking total capacity at this site to 8.8MW. The facility will now generate enough energy to power approximately 8,700 homes per year.

SimsMM have been added to the Dow Jones Sustainability World Index. This is the first time the company has been added to the global index, having been recognised for their efforts in leadership on risk and crisis management, innovation, climate strategy, eco efficiency, health and safety leadership and talent attraction and retention.

If sufficient, LMS will progress with the installation of a power module. This is yet another great project providing long-term environmental benefits.

17/08/2012 LMS RECEIVES CARBON ACCREDITATION UNDER CFI

LMS is now the first company nationally to receive carbon accreditation under the Carbon Farming Initiative (CFI). Previously accredited under the Greenhouse Friendly Program, our projects at South Cardup (WA), Atlas (WA), Darwin (NT) and Buderim (QLD) were the first four to be accredited in mid August.

03/08/2012 WOLLERT EXPANSION CONTINUES 5.5MW

LMS’ renewable electricity generation continues to increase with the expansion of the Wollert (VIC) Renewable Energy Facility. The fifth module was commissioned on 03 August 2012, taking total capacity at this site to 5.5MW. The site has also been expanded to allow for further modules to be potentially commissioned in the near future. 

14/06/2012 HAMPTON PARK EXPANSION CONTINUES 7.7MW

LMS’ renewable electricity generation continues to increase with the expansion of the Hallam Road (Hampton Park, VIC) Renewable Energy Facility. The seventh module was commissioned on 14 June 2012, taking total capacity at this site to 7.7MW. This renewable energy facility is LMS' largest in Victoria.

18/04/2012 WYONG EXPANSION TO 2.2MW

April 2012

LMS’ renewable electricity generation continues to increase with the expansion of the Wyong (NSW) Renewable Energy Facility. The second module was commissioned on 18 April 2012, taking total capacity at this site to 2.2MW.
