11/08/2014 SWANBANK OFFICIALLY OPEN

The Swanbank Renewable Energy Facility (QLD), a Joint Venture between LMS Energy and Remondis, was officially opened on 11 August 2014. CEO John Falzon had the pleasure of opening the new facility with Minister for Industry, the Hon Ian Macfarlane MP.  The installation of the 1.115MW module will produce more than 9,000MWh of electricity each year whilst reducing greenhouse emissions by over 46,800 tonnes.

31/07/2014 LMS ACQUIRES FOUR NEW PROJECTS IN QLD

July 2014

LMS has acquired four new projects in Queensland, including Molendinar (0.5MW), Stapylton (2.2MW), Suntown (1.8MW) and Reedy Creek (Flaring). Our project partners are Gold Coast City Council. LMS now has a total of 24 reliable, base-load renewable energy facilities operating nationally.

21/07/2014 ADDITIONAL LMS PROJECTS ELIGIBLE UNDER CFI

LMS now has a total of 34 projects to be declared as Eligible Offset Projects under the Carbon Farming Initiative (CFI). Our projects at Suntown, Stapylton and Molendinar (QLD) were accredited in July.

28/05/2014 ALBURY OFFICIALLY OPEN

The Albury Renewable Energy Facility (NSW) was officially opened on 28 May 2014. CEO John Falzon had the pleasure of opening the new facility with Albury City Mayor Kevin Mack. The installation of the 1.115MW module will produce more than 9,000MWh of electricity each year whilst reducing greenhouse emissions by over 46,800 tonnes.

LMS has been awarded the gas rights to the Central Waste Management Facility (QLD). Our project partners are Scenic Rim Regional Council.

LMS now has a total of 31 projects to be declared as Eligible Offset Projects under the Carbon Farming Initiative (CFI). Our project at Maitland (NSW) was accredited in March.

09/12/2013 NEW ALBURY RENEWABLE ENERGY FACILITY

LMS has developed a new renewable energy facility at the Albury Waste Management Centre (NSW). The facility was commissioned on 9 December 2013 and consists of a 1.1MW generator module. 

Our project partners are Albury City Council.

29/10/2013 WOLLERT EXPANSION CONTINUES 6.6MW

LMS’ renewable electricity generation continues to increase with the expansion of the Wollert (VIC) Renewable Energy Facility. The sixth module was commissioned on 29 October 2013, taking total capacity at this site to 6.6MW.
